Prof. Ze is enjoying the nice weather in Brazil and sent us a nice picture from Barra da Tijuca beach, neighborhood where he lived most of his life and where the famous Gracie Barra BJJ School is located.
The schools are going to be closed this Saturday (March 3rd). The team is heading to Columbus to compete at the OGC!

To help the Rio Pro team get ready for OGC in Columbus, the following dates will have competition classes. Competition classes will be in the Advanced or Black Belt class. Beginner students registered for the tournament can participate in these classes.

We have always encouraged wrestling practitioners to train Jiu- Jitsu as a supplement to increase their knowledge on the ground. Our dear Thomas proved that BJJ really does help by taking second place at the sectionals for the Cleveland area, only losing for the State Champion on the finals. Thomas just start training wrestling!!

Our dear student Joshua Lasiich fought again this past weekend for the third time in MMA and kept his record clean so far. Josh won his fight in the second round by rear naked choke. Congratulations!!!
